Quick tips
- Once you're active, you control your details yourself
- You can control what others see on your personal page and elsewhere by setting your privacy settings for non-members, members and friends
- You can add pictures, a profile and other information about yourself that you can share with others
- If you have more than one username, you can combine them using a feature called 'identities'
- You can be a member of more than one site, and set up your own sites for other people
- If your personal page doesn't give you enough space, get a site - they start from free.
- You can control whether the site sends you emails and hide your email address so you can only see messages when you revisit the site
- Anyone can add their friends, but friends don't automatically become members of sites
